There Is an Alternative Treatment for Cancer!

Cancer has got to be one of the scariest words these days. Just the thought sends shivers down my spine. It’s scary because we’re all told there is no cure and conventional medicine can only prolong life, often for only a few months. But what if you were told there are other possibilities that may effectively kill cancer? Wouldn’t you like to know?

What is Vitamin C?

Vitamin C (also known as ascorbic acid) is a powerful antioxidant and an essential nutrient. Vitamin C isn’t stored in your body so you need to top it up daily. Most people think citrus fruits are a good source but in actual fact, you’ll find far more in guavas, broccoli, dark leafy greens, capsicum, and kiwis. Vitamin C is involved in all kinds of crucial health aspects. When taken in high doses, it will:

Form a protein that develops tissue, ligaments, blood vessels. Maintain cartilage, skin, and bones. Helps to heal wounds through the production of collagen. Assist in overall brain health (needed to make certain neurotransmitters like serotonin). Block free radicals (free radicals are responsible for the aging process and may be linked to diseases, including cancer)

When I’m talking high doses, I’m talking grams, not milligrams. The reason you may find vitamin C isn’t effective is that you haven’t taken enough. You might end up with diarrhea but that’s about it. Vitamin C for common illnesses is a whole new topic I could go into. If you’re interested just leave a comment.

What Does Vitamin C Have To Do With Cancer?

Studies have shown that treatment using high doses of vitamin C given in high doses may actually improve the lives of terminal cancer patients by prolonging their life and decreasing the severity of their symptoms. A team of researchers from the University of Kansas reported that vitamin C effectively eradicates cancer cells while leaving healthy cells intact1. At high levels, vitamin C is toxic to cancer cells. There are many skeptics as this is not yet considered conventional medicine. It’s considered alternative medicine but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. I thought it would be best to illustrate with a couple case studies and you can make the judgment call yourself.

Case Study 1: Resolution of Lung Masses

A 52-year old woman had kidney cancer which required doctors to remove her left kidney. No metastases (the spread of cancer from one organ to another) were found at the time of the operation. One year later, a chest x-ray showed four masses in her lungs and one month later, there were eight in total.

She began ascorbic acid treatment the following month. She started with a dose of 15g and increased her dosage to 65g after two weeks. Her dosage was administered through IV twice per week. She was also consuming other vitamins and fish oil. She continued this treatment for seven months. At that point, an x-ray revealed that seven of the eight masses were gone and the eighth had been reduced in size. She carried on with oral treatment and continued to live well with no further progression2.

Case Study Two: Terminal Cancer Patients

One hundred terminal cancer patients were treated with vitamin C. Each patient received 10g per day through IV for ten days. After this patients continued to take vitamin C orally. When compared to 1000 control patients from the same hospital, the vitamin C treated patients lived 300 days longer on average. This is a good case study because the sample size was fairly high and there were controls put in place to compare3.

With the technological advancements, we have today I don’t believe we still haven’t found a cure for cancer. I believe we know the answer and the answer lies in our food. But too many industries rely on the sick to survive and of course, we can’t kill off the sickness industry! Hippocrates knew this centuries ago when he said: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”.

I wonder what else we know but allowed ignorance to blind us. Feel free to comment!
